Never seen live wedding painting before? You’re not alone.
We know this might be new for you, so we’ve put together answers to the most common questions couples ask — from how it works to what you can expect.
What exactly is live wedding painting?
Live wedding painting is a unique blend of art and entertainment where our award-winning artist, Caezar, paints a moment from your wedding day in realism using oil paint on canvas. Guests get to watch the magic happen in real time, and you get an heirloom-quality artwork to treasure forever.

How does the process work?

Pre-Wedding Consultation: We’ll discuss the moment you’d like captured, canvas size, and any special details. This choice must be finalized at least 14 days before the wedding.

Live Painting at Your Event: Caezar arrives 30 minutes early to set up and begin painting your chosen moment at the Event Venue.

Studio Touch-Ups: Within 24 hours post-event, final details are added in our studio to ensure the painting is polished and complete.

Drying + Shipping: Oil paint needs 7 days to fully dry. We use express shipping so your artwork is delivered within 14 days after your drying time. Your painting will arrive ready to frame and treasure.

Do your packages include a time-lapse video?
Yes! All packages except The First Brush include a time-lapse video capturing Caezar’s painting process from start to finish. It’s a beautiful keepsake and a fun way to relive the day. If you’ve booked The First Brush, you can still add a time-lapse video as an upgrade.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance to secure your date, especially during peak wedding season (May–September). However, feel free to reach out if your date is booked — if we have space, we’ll make it happen!​

Can I request specific colors or a certain vibe for the painting?

Absolutely. While Caezar’s style is rooted in realism, we’re happy to tailor your artwork to your taste — whether that’s warmer tones, a more romantic feel, or even subtle symbolic details. We’ll chat through your preferences during your consultation.

Can I get more than one painting done?

Yes! If you’d like multiple paintings (for example, one of the ceremony and another of your first dance), we’d be happy to create a custom package that fits your vision and timeline.

Do you offer custom pricing?
We do. If your needs fall outside our standard packages — such as a multi-day event, destination wedding, or unique setup — just reach out and we’ll build a custom quote just for you.
What style does the artist paint in?
Caezar paints in a realistic style using oil on canvas. His focus is on capturing the emotion, lighting, and subtle details that make your moment feel timeless. Each painting is rich in texture, handcrafted, and completely one-of-a-kind.

How does the artist know what to paint?
You choose the moment, and we'll paint from a reference photo taken on your special day. You’ll work with your photographer to capture the exact scene you want immortalized — whether it’s your first kiss, first dance, or a quiet in-between moment. We’ll use that photo to guide the painting. If needed, we can also provide a professional photographer for an additional fee.

Can we give feedback or request changes during the event?
Because Caezar paints from a reference photo, we don’t accommodate mid-painting revisions during the event. However, we take your preferences into account beforehand and ensure you love the final result with thoughtful post-event studio touch-ups.

What do you need from us on the day of the wedding?

Ideally, placement near the dance floor, ceremony, or reception area so guests can enjoy the experience!

Do you only do weddings?
Not at all! If you’re planning a proposal or want to surprise someone with a live painting, we’d love to be part of it. We’re always happy to paint other milestone events like anniversaries, baby showers, or galas. Just ask — if it’s special, we can paint it.

What materials do you use?
All paintings are done in oil on professional-grade canvas, designed to last generations. We also use Liquin for quicker drying time without sacrificing quality.

Do you offer framing?
Yes! Framing is available as an optional add-on and can be discussed during your consultation.

Where are you based, and do you travel?
We’re based in the Greater Toronto Area, but we travel across Ontario and Canada. Travel within 200 km is included with select packages; beyond that, additional fees apply.

What’s your pricing and payment policy?
​Here’s what you need to know when booking:​

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to save your date

The remaining 50% is due 7 days before the wedding

If you need to cancel, there’s no cancellation fee — any payments made beyond the deposit are refundable.

How do I book?
Head to wetpaintsociety.com/book-online and select the package that’s right for you. We’ll follow up within 48 hours to confirm availability and set up a consultation.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept e-transfers, major credit cards, and PayPal. All payment details will be outlined in your service agreement, and a secure invoice will be sent after your consultation.
