There’s something surreal about watching your best friend get married.

Like… we used to lie in each other’s beds, hungover, and talking about the people we were going to become. Back then, everything was theoretical. Now it’s real.

And now here she is. Becoming whole wife.

Walking into a whole new chapter — and looking so ridiculously stunning doing it.

As maid of honour, I helped plan, organize, support, and celebrate. I fed her one too many drinks during the bachelorette, and I teared up every single time I tried to work on writing her speech.

But as her best friend? I just soaked it all in. I enjoyed being her supporting character and making sure she had the best day.

It’s wild how love pulls us into these big, defining moments.

The ones that remind you what matters.

The ones that remind you why we do what we do.
