THE PIVOT

TL;DR: Sometimes the idea that scares you the most is the one that actually makes sense. Pivoting isn’t failure — it’s following that quiet tug toward the thing that feels like purpose (and also panic).

There comes a moment in every business where you look around and go:

“Wait… is this still it?”

Not because things are falling apart, but because something else has been tugging at your brain. Quietly. Consistently. Almost annoyingly.

That thing you said “maybe one day” to?

It starts showing up in your dreams.

Or in your journal.

Or in 7 conversations you didn’t ask for.

We call that the pivot.

It’s when the thing that feels terrifying also happens to feel like your whole personality just stood up and said “excuse me, I have something to say.”

For us, that pivot looked like shifting the business from safe and simple to aligned and exciting.

Trying something new.

Making space for fun.

Doing the thing we’ve never done — but kind of know deep down we’re built for.

It’s uncomfortable, of course, because comfort loves routine.

But purpose? Purpose loves risk.

And here’s the kicker: once you try the new thing — the one that had you spiraling at 3am — it actually feels… right.

Hard, yes.

Stretchy, yes.

But also like yours.

That’s the difference.

So if you’re feeling like you might want to change direction, or add something to your business that’s way outside your niche:

Do it scared.

Do it curious.

Do it with one eye open and the other one squinting at your calendar wondering how this will even fit.

Because the pivot might be the moment you stop chasing what looks good — and start doing what feels like you.
