WE STARTED A TV SHOW WITH NO CREW, NO BUDGET, AND NO CHILL

TL;DR: The only thing scarier than doing something new is not doing it. Here’s what we’ve learned from starting a YouTube competition series with nothing but an idea and a whole lot of vibes.

Most people don’t just start a TV show.
There are steps.
There are scripts.
There’s… equipment? Maybe even a pitch deck?
But we had none of that.
What we did have was a wild idea, a camera, and a fire in our chest that said, “what if we actually tried?”
So we did.
And it’s been chaos in the best way.
BLANK is the kind of show we wished existed when we were younger — a creative competition that feels like love, not elimination. A space for artists to play, push themselves, and show up without fear.
But the behind-the-scenes?
Let’s just say it’s giving startup energy.
🎥 We’re interviewing artists for casting (quietly) during naptimes.
💻 We’re sharpening our editing skills and building a team with vision.
📢 We’re reaching out to sponsors and getting familiar with rejection.
And honestly? That’s the point.
Sometimes your big idea isn’t supposed to start polished.
Sometimes the only thing that matters is that you start.
Because starting opens doors.
It builds muscles.
It teaches you what you didn’t know you needed to learn.
And maybe, just maybe, it inspires someone else to say:
“If they did it like that, I can try too.”
So here we are. Building a dream on faith, fumes, and follow-through.And if you're dreaming something wild too? Don’t wait for perfect.
Start messy. Start loud. Start now.
